How affiliate links work on this site
Affiliate links on this site are tagged with rel=“sponsored” per Google webmaster guidelines, and any post containing affiliate links is clearly disclosed. Buttons labeled “Buy at [retailer]” or similar calls-to-action that lead to a third-party retailer are affiliate links unless otherwise stated.
Programs we participate in
We may participate in affiliate programs operated by online nicotine pouch retailers and brands. The specific programs we are enrolled in change over time. As of September 2026 our active partners are three nicotine pouch brands: ZYLO (zylopouch.com, direct program), JOEY (meetjoey.com, via FlexOffers) and ZAR (zarpouch.com, via Awin). Each review and product page shows one of them. Links to them are marked “partner” or “sponsored” and carry rel="sponsored". They are separate brands, not retailers of the products we review; a partner link on a review page is not an endorsement of that brand over the product reviewed. None of their products are on FDA’s list of authorized nicotine pouch products. We are also in Lucy’s own affiliate program (via Levanta): links to lucy.co on Lucy product pages, the Lucy brand page and Lucy reviews are affiliate links and carry rel="sponsored". Being in the program does not change how we rate Lucy products. Links to a brand’s own store (for example us.zyn.com) and to retailers named in our reviews are not affiliate links, except the Lucy links described above.
Sponsored content
Some brands pay us to publish an article or a brand listing about their products. As of September 2026 we have one sponsored placement: ALP (alppouch.com) paid for our article “ALP Frontier Collection: Flavors, Strengths and Tins” and for its brand page at /brands/alp. The sponsor may review a draft for factual accuracy, but product specifications are checked against the brand’s own website. Sponsored pages are not independent reviews, carry no star rating, and do not change how we rate or rank that brand anywhere else on the site.
Our editorial independence
Affiliate commissions never influence our ratings, rankings, or editorial decisions. We rate products on a consistent rubric (flavor, strength, comfort, value) regardless of whether we earn a commission on them. If a product we recommend is not available through an affiliate partner, we will still recommend it.
We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews, and we do not allow advertisers to review or approve our content prior to publication.
